Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the BetterStakeSol application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

3. Account Responsibility

You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your wallet and private keys. We do not have access to your private keys and cannot recover them if lost. You are responsible for all activities that occur through your wallet.

To manage your notifications, the App may ask your wallet to sign a short message. The signature proves that you control the wallet address. It costs nothing, is not a transaction, and does not give us access to your funds. The session it creates expires within 24 hours.

5. Staking Risks

Staking cryptocurrency involves significant risks including but not limited to: loss of staked assets, validator slashing, network downtime, smart contract vulnerabilities, liquid staking token de-pegging, and market volatility. Past performance does not guarantee future results. You acknowledge and accept these risks.

6. No Financial Advice

The App does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Any information displayed in the App, including AI-generated explanations, answers, and labels, is for informational purposes only and is not a recommendation to stake, unstake, buy, sell, or move funds. You should consult with qualified professionals before making any financial decisions.

7. AI-Generated Content

The App uses AI to explain transactions, errors, and screens and to answer questions. AI output is informational only and may be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Check amounts and addresses against your screen and the blockchain before you act, and do not rely on AI output for decisions. The AI never signs or sends anything on your behalf; you approve every transaction in your wallet.

8. Your Content

The questions, preferences, and problem reports you submit ("Your Content") must not be unlawful, abusive, or misleading, and must never include a seed phrase or private key. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to process Your Content, including through our AI provider, to operate and improve the App.

9. Notifications

Notifications are optional and sent on a best-effort basis. They may be late, incomplete, or missing, for example because of network, device, or provider problems. They are not a substitute for checking your stake accounts and tokens yourself, and we are not liable for an event you were not notified of.

10. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services such as Solana RPC providers, validator and price data providers, Sanctum, Jito, Anthropic, and push and hosting providers. We do not control them and do not guarantee their availability, accuracy, or security. Data such as APY, validator scores, prices, and swap quotes may be delayed or wrong, and those services may have their own terms.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App are owned by BetterStakeSol and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

12. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to: (a) use the App for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App; (c) interfere with or disrupt the App's operation; (d) use the App to launder money or finance illegal activities.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BetterStakeSol shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or cryptocurrency assets arising from your use of the App.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BetterStakeSol and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these terms.

15. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for any reason, including violation of these terms.

16. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

17. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
